South Carolina Republican Party

This morning, we all got to go to the South Carolina Republican Party office and hear from them. We met with some very kind people who told us more about the State Party systems and why they're important. The most peculiar that was said was right when we got there, before we started our tour. Our guide told us to remember that America isn't a Democracy, it's a Constitutional Republic. It seemed like she meant it as wordplay, since we were at the Republican office, but it did set a bit of an odd tone for the rest of our time there. Anyway, we had a great time and learned a lot from everyone there!
