Aiken County Dems

Today we got to visit with the Aiken County Democratic Party and they gave us a thorough overview of what county party activities look like. The two people we talked to were Pete and Teresa. Pete is apparently a 'pro canvaser' and he said he has knocked on over 5,000 doors in the time he has been working with the party. They were both really excited to see young people like us getting really invested in political participation. Here are some notable quotes from our time with them:
